Luigi Lo Cascio reads The Road, the literary masterpiece that earned the Pulitzer Prize for one of the greatest writers of our time, Cormac McCarthy .

Supported by the soundtracks of GUP Alcaro, already winner of the 2014 and 2023 Ubu awards in the category dedicated to the best sound project, Lo Cascio's voice gives substance to the story of a man and a child, father and son walking through streets of ash and exhausted landscapes. They are each other's entire world, tenaciously traveling towards the coast, where a sea awaits them that is perhaps still blue. Guiding them is the belief that they are the good ones, those who bring fire to a universe from which every other light has been banished. A powerful prophecy, an unforgettable narrative about the best and worst that human beings are capable of.
